Policies and Guidelines
Hidden Hosting provides web hosting to many clients, and we have a responsibility to protect each client and to provide the best services possible. The following guidelines were established to help ensure that these obligations are met.
CONTENT:
All services provided by Hidden Hosting are to be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Hidden Hosting,
Volatile Graphix, Inc., REM Services and their employees from any claims resulting from the use or inability to use the service which damages the subscriber or any other party.
Pornography and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all Hidden Hosting machines. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere.
Hidden Hosting will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision.
Gambling is strictly prohibited.
MLM's including 2 tier programs may not charge members to join or require any purchases, minimums, etc. This is the Law, not just our policy.
Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to Hidden Hosting machines or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.

Hidden Hosting will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
- Multiple hosts resolving at an IP or domain name that we provide:
This means if you open an account with one website and you point to other sites. We apply this rule if your pointer sites are high traffic. While bandwidth, and storage limits may not be exceeded by this practice, excessive processor usage will not be tolerated. The rule we use is a 12% processor usage for an hour or a 25% peak puts your site on hold.
- Sites with banners, counters or cgi's running from their domain used on other domains:
When you employ services such as Link Exchange or a cgi host who lets 1000's of others link to their site, it is important that you require any sites you exchange ads with, display your ad on their own server not yours. Not only will not abiding by this guideline cause your site to load slowly, but, depending on the resources that you are absorbing you will inadvertently affect our other clients. The mail, cgi-bin, counters, autoresponders etc. are for your use and the use of visitors to your site, they are not to be used on other sites, or resold. You may email support@Hidden Hosting with your proposal for an exception to this rule and provisions and pricing can be arranged on an individual basis.
- Sites using more than 10% of system resources:
This Item is not yet displayed in the system resources routine on the server control panel, but we get an alarm, email and page when the limits are passed, we will personally notify you so that measures can be taken to limit the faults or scripts causing the interference to the other sites on that particular machine. (hint: only use SSL on your order form)
Commercial Advertising, Unsolicited, Bulk Email:
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from a Hidden Hosting machine or using an email address or domain name that is maintained on a Hidden Hosting machine as a reference is STRICTLY prohibited. Accounts benefiting from spamming activities, even if those activities were not carried out by you or on our servers are considered in violation of our policy. Accounts in violation of our spamming policy WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT NOTICE.
Hidden Hosting will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. We must enforce a first strike you're out policy regarding spam because we must protect all of our clients from possible harm due to one reckless operator.
Chat Rooms:
We do not allow clients to install their own chat rooms. These tend to be a large drain on system resources and we cannot allow it as an account option.
Background Running Programs:
We do not allow programs to run continually in the background.
IRC:
We currently do not allow IRC or IRC bots to be operated on our servers.
Server Abuse:
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server, or customer, of Hidden Hosting
is strictly prohibited.
Refusal of Service:
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, suspend or delete service at our sole discretion.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Volatile Graphix, Inc., REM Services and/or Hidden Hosting shall not be held responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from Hidden Hosting machines going off-line or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Furthermore,

REM Services and/or Hidden Hosting shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any web site from one of Hidden Hosting's machines. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service.
Violations of these Acceptable Uses Policies should be referred to abuse@Hidden Hosting
All complaints will be investigated promptly.
Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account deactivation.
Money Back Guarantee:
Hidden Hosting is pleased to offer a money-back guarantee within 30 days of your account activation should we fail to provide satisfactory service. We can not refund InterNIC registration fees. The Domain Name is yours to keep, move or sell. Furthermore,

REM Services and/or Hidden Hosting will not and can not be responsible for any fees that you charge for our services to your customers.
DISCLAIMER:
Hidden Hosting provides space and bandwidth on an as-is basis and cannot be held liable for system downtime, crashes, or data loss. We cannot be held liable for any predicted estimate of profits in which a client would have gained if their site was functioning. Certain services provided by Hidden Hosting are resold. Thus, certain equipment, routing, software, and programming used by Hidden Hosting are not directly owned or written by Hidden Hosting. Moreover,

REM Services and/or Hidden Hosting hold no responsibility for our clients use of their accounts. If any terms or conditions are failed to be followed, the account in question will be automatically deactivated. We reserve the right to remove any account without advanced notice for any reason with or without restitution as Hidden Hosting sees fit.
ACCOUNT ACTIVATION:
By activating your account with Hidden Hosting, you agree to the above policies and disclaimer. Upon requesting an account activation, you are required to accept these policies, guidelines, and disclaimer and a copy of your acceptance is forwarded along with your activation request to be maintained within your account information.
NOTICE: If you sign up for an account and do not follow our terms. No refunds will be given. We will normally let you know by email or phone before any action is taken, so you may have a chance to help us solve the matter.
FURTHERMORE, Hidden Hosting retains the right to change any or all of the above Policies, Guidelines, and Disclaimer without prior notification.
Hint If you plan on sending out questionable e-mail (even if you include the notice that it legally can't be considered spam) -- back up your web site first -- you may loose it!
